BlueCrest Energy Inc. is planning a 33-well development program at the Cosmopolitan unit, according to a plan of operations released by state officials today.
The proposal calls for constructing a 35-acre pad on private land some six miles north of Anchor Point to target resources located off the coast of the southern Kenai Peninsula.
The five-year program would begin early next year.
The Fort Worth, Texas-based independent came to Alaska as the minority partner of Buccaneer Energy Ltd and later bought out the majority interest of its partner.
