Ekstrom joins Evergreen Resources

Evergreen Resources Inc. said July 8 that Jack R. Ekstrom has joined the company as director, government and public affairs.

Evergreen said Ekstrom has 28 years of experience in the petroleum industry. He founded and was principal in Energy Research International Corp., a research and public affairs organization that served clients in the United States, Canada and Europe.

He also served in a variety of management capacities for a unit of Dun & Bradstreet Corp., Arthur Andersen LLP and Forest Oil Corp. He is a former president of The Denver Petroleum Club and RMOGA-Colorado. He is a member of IPAMS, COGA, Colorado Petroleum Association, the Independent Petroleum Association of America and the Interstate Oil & Gas Compact Commission.
