Call for info for February lease sales

The Alaska Division of Oil and Gas has issued a call for new information for two 2007 oil and gas lease sales: Alaska Peninsula Areawide and North Slope Foothills Areawide.

The call for new information opened June 28 and closes Aug. 31. Supplements to the best interest findings or decisions of no substantial new information would be issued in November and the proposed date for the sales is Feb. 28, 2007.

Final findings for the sale areas are available on the division’s Web site: www.dog.dnr.state.ak.us.
