Joint venture driven by Mackenzie

Act now or forever rue the day seems to be driving the creation of a new joint venture designed to profit from the Mackenzie Gas Project.

Mackenzie Integrated Tubular Solutions pulls together three companies who are ready to offer one-stop-shopping in the Canadian North.

The partners are the Inuvialuit Development Corp. which runs a variety of business enterprises and distributed an average C$478 to its enrolled beneficiaries in 2005 (down from C$774 in 2004) from profits of C$19 million; Northern Transportation, which operates in Northern Canada and the Arctic delivering petroleum products and dry cargo to communities and oil and gas exploration sites; and Calgary-based Hallmark Tubulars which was founded 25 years ago.

Mackenzie Integrated Tubular Solutions employs a proprietary model that incorporates all aspects of the tubular supply chain, managing all or parts of the process, based on need. Based in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, the company offers products and services covering mill sourcing, bucking, threading, thread compound, sleeves, yard services, float equipment, safety management programs, warehousing, transportation services, inspection of used tubing and wellbore assets, thread protector recycling, inventory management, rental string and barge delivery services.
