Arctic Power will hold its annual meeting Feb. 14 at the Hotel Captain Cook.
Billed as an “annual meeting luncheon rally,” the event features Gov. Frank Murkowski as keynote speaker.
“National elections, White House support, and the seniority of our congressional delegation promise to make 2003 the year of ANWR,” said Kim Duke, executive director of Arctic Power.
But, she said, while this year represents the best chance ever to secure opening of the coastal plain to oil and gas development, “we face another large educational campaign in Washington, D.C.” Reservations are required. RSVP at 274-2697 or email bmartin@anwr.org by Feb. 12.
