Proposed CIGGS interim rate 15.2 cents

An article in the July 3 issue of Petroleum News said the interim rate for transporting natural gas on the Cook Inlet Gas Gathering System had been set at 1.52 cents per thousand cubic feet.

In fact the interim rate is 15.2 cents per mcf.

The 1.52 cents per mcf rate came from paperwork filed by the parties with the Regulatory Commission of Alaska.

Paul Weeditz, Houston-based Marathon Oil spokesman, told Petroleum News July 8 that a correction is being prepared for submission to the commission.
