Redoubt Shoal No. 2 certified capable of production

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources Division of Oil and Gas has certified the Cook Inlet Redoubt Unit No. 2 well as capable of producing in paying quantities. The division said Forest Oil Corp., operator at Redoubt, requested the certification June 26.

The well, on lands covered by state oil and gas lease ADL 374002, “has demonstrated the capability of producing in paying quantities” in accordance with state regulations, the division said.
