Oil Patch Bits Udelhoven acquires TNM
In late 2007, Udelhoven Oilfield System Services Inc. (UOSS) acquired True North Management LLC (TNM). Both firms are Anchorage-based, providing project/construction management services to the Alaska, Lower 48 and international oil and gas industry. Now a UOSS division, TNM’s contracts and employees transferred to UOSS, including Lee A. Gabrielson, co-founder and president, who is now a UOSS project manager and oversees the TNM operation. Jim Udelhoven continues to serve as CEO of UOSS, and Jim Gilbert remains its president.
Iditarod mushers will draw for NAC prize The mushers who finish the grueling Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race this year will receive a chance to win a brand new Bombardier Outlander 400 ATV from Alaska Mining and Diving, courtesy of race sponsor Northern Air Cargo. The drawing will take place after the race at the Mushers Banquet in Nome. Each musher will draw a key. The musher with the key that starts the ATV will take it home.
LeBlanc takes job with CH2M Hill Anchorage city manager Denis LeBlanc stepped down in January to take a new job as operations and maintenance director for the Anchorage office of CH2M Hill, an engineering, construction, management and design firm that recently purchased VECO Corp. City manager since 2003, LeBlanc was formerly an executive at Alyeska Pipeline Service Co.
HC Price part of new service firm On Jan. 31, H.C. Price Co. and Gregory & Cook Construction Inc. announced the formation of a new company, Price Gregory Services Inc. The new company will bring together two of the largest and most respected pipeline-related infrastructure service providers in North America.
