Mining News: Spades zones at 3 Aces growing to open-pit size

Golden Predator Mining Corp. July 10 said drilling continues to expand the Ace and Jack of Spades zones at its 3 Aces gold project in southeastern Yukon. The latest assay results are from 23 reverse circulation holes drilled through May 15. Highlights from this drilling include 6.86 meters of 20.15 grams per metric ton gold from a depth of 6.86 meters in hole 3A17-100; 1.52 meters of 54.25 g/t gold from a depth of 2.29 meters in 3A17-106; 6.1 meters of 22.3 g/t gold from ad depth of 12.95 meters in 3A17-127; and 1.52 m of 72.25 g/t gold from a depth of 14.48 meters in 3A17-126. Current results expand the zone of mineralization in the Ace and Jack of Spades zone to more than 137 meters in a southeasterly direction and 61 meters along strike. In addition to the already identified high-grade underground targets, Golden Predator says the drill results suggest a merging into a single gently dipping zone, providing a potential near surface bulk mineable deposit. These drill results are part of a fully funded 40,000 m drill program1, which will continue throughout 2017. The 2017 program, which began in February and is expected to include 40,000 meters of drilling, is initially focusing on the Spades zone then focus on identifying and testing new mineralized vein targets combined with expanding the current gold targets in the Clubs, Hearts and Spades zones.
