AOGCC statutory changes pass Legislature

The Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission asked for — and got — the Legislature’s approval of updates to its statutes. A committee substitute for Senate Bill 109 passed the Senate 19 yeas, zero nays, on April 18. The bill passed the House May 4 by 36 yeas zero nays, was held pending a reconsideration vote, and on May 7 was awaiting transmittal to the governor.

The changes included substantive and housekeeping items (see story in April 22 issue of Petroleum News).
