Federal coordinator speaks to IAEE

Larry Persily, federal coordinator for Alaska Natural Gas Transportation Projects, will be the guest speaker at the Feb. 15 meeting of the Anchorage chapter of the International Association for Energy Economics.

Persily’s topic is: “Gas line economics and politics: What it will take for the North America market to need Alaska gas, and what will it take for Alaska gas to be price competitive.”

The meeting is from noon to 1 p.m. at the BP Energy Center.
