Open house for Beluga-to-Fairbanks EIS

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has scheduled public scoping meetings for an environmental impact statement it is preparing for the Beluga-to-Fairbanks natural gas pipeline proposed by the Alaska Natural Gas Development Authority.

Meetings are scheduled in Anchorage March 4 at the Anchorage Sheraton and in Wasilla March 5 at the Central Mat-Su Public Safety Building.

Both meetings begin with an open house at 5 p.m. followed by a presentation at 6 p.m. and public questions and comments from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
