Alaska Steel, a customer-driven, forward-thinking metals company, operates in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Kenai. Joining the Alaska Steel team in 2005, Skyler Plonta started as a hot shot delivery driver, working his way to his current position of outside sales in 2009. Skyler is a life-long Alaskan and enjoys skiing, golfing, softball and going to Alaska Aces games. An avid musician, while attending high school, Skyler was asked to perform at Universal Studios, Orlando, where he sang with the school jazz choir.
