BOEMRE sets hearings on Chukchi SEIS

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement will hold a number of public hearings in Alaska on the revised draft supplemental impact statement for Chukchi Sea lease sale 193:

June 21: Kotzebue, Community Center;

June 22: Point Hope, City Qalgi Center;

June 23: Fairbanks, Westmark Hotel & Conference Center;

June 24: Wainwright, R. James Community Center;

June 27: Barrow, Inupiat Heritage Center;

June 28: Point Lay, Community Center; and

June 29: Anchorage, Wilda Marston Theatre.

The agency said all meetings will begin at 7 p.m.
