PETROLEUM DIRECTORY: Crowley combining West Coast operations

Crowley Maritime Corporation announced in October that it’s combining the company’s operations and commercial responsibilities for its West Coast marine services units into one group under the leadership of Chris Peterson, who has been promoted to vice president, West Coast services.

Peterson will now oversee all West Coast marine operations, contract services and ship assist and escort services.

A 21-year Crowley veteran, Peterson most recently served as general manager, West Coast services. He joined Crowley in 1986 following his graduation from California Maritime Academy and has since served in several seagoing and shore-side positions, including master, port captain and director of West Coast operations.
