Apache and CIE forfeit leases
Apache Alaska Corp. forfeited five leases in January.
ADL 392223 is an offshore lease northeast of Port Nikiski and west of the NordAq-operated Shadura unit. ADL 392225 and ADL 392226 are onshore leases directly to the south. ADL 392217 and ADL 392218 are onshore leases even farther to the south.
Cook Inlet Energy LLC forfeited four leases in January.
ADL 392212, ADL 392213, ADL 392214 and ADL 392215 are onshore leases north of Clam Gulch. The Kenai-Kachemak Pipeline runs through the cluster of leases.
The state approved the transfer of 100 percent working interest and 87.5 percent royalty interest in leases ADL 391593 and ADL 391594 from the Estate of Monty J. Allen to James C. Casper & Laurel L. Casper Living Trust retroactive to December 2013. The two offshore leases are in the area around Kalgin Island, in the center of Cook Inlet.
The state is considering a request to transfer various small royalty interests in the five leases in and around the ConocoPhillips-operated North Cook Inlet unit from Black Stone Natural Resources I LP to Black Stone Minerals Co. LP and to Matagorda B1 LP.
The state is also considering a request from investor Daniel K. Donkel to transfer a small royalty interest in Cook Inlet Energy lease ADL 359111 to investor Samuel H. Cade.
The state approved the transfer of 22.5 percent working interest and 18.75 percent royalty interest in 25 North Slope leases from Repsol E&P USA Inc. to partner 70 & 148 LLC.
The state also issued 15 leases in the Nenana basin to Doyon Ltd.
