Oil Patch Bits: UMIAQ names Renk new senior project manager

UMIAQ, a member of the Ukpeagvik Iņupiat Corp. said April 14 that Russel Renk, Ph.D., P.E., has been named senior project manager. Renk has a broad multidisciplinary background and more than 20 years of experience in construction, permitting, wastewater treatment and environmental remediation. He has worked with local, state, and federal entities to meet NEPA and other environmental and construction requirements. Throughout his career, he has worked with companies worldwide to develop energy resources including, coal, oil, oil sands, natural gas and geothermal reserves. Renk has published more than 30 reports and articles in civil and environmental engineering and holds two patents in the area of wastewater treatment.
