Business Spotlight: Delta Pump & Equipment LLC

Delta Pump & Equipment LLC, a woman-owned business, started business in 2000 selling pumps and continues to do so with a menu of additional manufacturers and related equipment added over the years. The company has grown into systems design and fabrication for the oilfield, mining and sewage industries, and also is a warranty repair facility for some pumps.

After moving to Alaska in 1983, Bill Ahrens drove a dump truck, and later held a position at National Oilwell for nearly 17 years. He then worked for himself in an unrelated business venture, and subsequently worked for two local pump companies, after which, he went to work for Delta P Pump. When not working, Ahrens enjoys flying, hunting, fishing, history, science and reading a good novel.
