PETROLEUM DIRECTORY: Doyon executive is Alliance president

Mark Huber of Doyon Universal Services is serving as president of the Alaska Support Industry Alliance this year.

Huber, a vice president at Doyon Universal, was chosen by the board Sept. 23. He’s served on the Alliance board since 1999.

Huber’s executive committee includes some prominent names in the oilfield service industry, as well as other business leaders.

Jim Gilbert is vice president of government relations. He’s president of Udelhoven Oilfield Services Inc.

Jim Palmer of The Palmer Group and a former BP government relations executive, is the vice president of public relations.

Eric Dompeling of Texas Iron Works, known as TIW, is secretary, and David Lawer, a senior vice president of First National Bank Alaska, is treasurer.

Also on the executive committee is the immediate past president, Lynn Johnson of Dowland-Bach Corp.
