Oil Patch Bits: Global Diving & Salvage Inc. welcomes Mike Cargol

Global Diving and Salvage Inc., a premier provider of saturation and surface dive services based in Seattle, Wash., said April 4 that it has hired Mike Cargol as general manager for its Gulf of Mexico region, based in Houston, Texas. In this position, Cargol will be responsible for the day-to-day operations as well as the development of business opportunities.

“The recent opening of our Houston facility staffed with experienced personnel shows that Global is committed to our clients in this region,” said Bruce Humberstone, Global’s Regional manager. “Cargol’s operations, marketing, and business management background, complemented by his knowledge of the GoM market, will help Global meet our objectives for service, quality, and growth.”

Cargol joins the company with a diverse resume from the oilfield and offshore sectors. His experience in all facets of the service market makes him the ideal choice to lead Global’s Gulf Coast growth initiatives. Cargol was previously employed by Houston based Wild Well Control Inc.
