Oil Patch Bits: Doyon Emerald welcomes Robert Cambron to company

Doyon Emerald, a wholly owned subsidiary of Doyon Ltd., said May 3 Robert Cambron has joined the company as a process engineer. Cambron has a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and experience as a mechanical engineer in project management, mechanical design, industrial facility operations and forensic engineering. Robert’s expertise includes drafting, 3-D modeling and prototype development, technical writing and editing, failure analysis and accident investigation, data analysis and plant operations and maintenance.

Prior to joining Doyon Emerald, Cambron worked as a mechanical design engineer in Alaska. His projects included developing and testing prototypes and preparing his mechanical designs for the manufacturing process. He has also worked as a forensic engineer in Denver, Colo., investigating failures and accidents, primarily vehicle accidents, but also boating accidents, industrial equipment failures and manufacturing design flaws. All work involved extensive computational analysis and technical writing.
