TotalFinaElf E&P USA follows parent, shortens name

Houston-based TotalFinaElf E&P USA Inc. has followed its parent company, Total S.A., and dropped “FinaElf” from its name, company spokeswoman Kathy Temple told Petroleum News May 8. The new name is simply Total E&P USA Inc.
Each subsidiary, Temple said, will decide whether or not to follow the paren....
