House Rules chairman says state wants North Slope data center

Netricity executives get warm reception at hearing before rules committee, stress need for timely gas purchase deal

The Alaska Legislature is bullish on a proposed $1 billion North Slope data center planned by Netricity LLC, company executives were told at a legislative update hearing in Anchorage Oct. 23. “In my mind (the data center) is the most viable economic project in the state of Alaska in the near term,”....
