American Marine Corp. said Oct. 5 that its vessels, the American Explorer and American Discovery have ended another successful season on the North Slope with no accidents, incidents or injuries. “Thanks to the vessel crews, Deadhorse support staff of American Marine Corp., our clients, vendors, and contractors who assisted in achieving this goal,” said Rick Wilson, operations manager for the Alaska region. American Marine Services Group of Companies includes Pacific Environmental Corp. and has offices in Anchorage, Prudhoe Bay, Honolulu, Los Angeles and New Orleans; it operates a significant fleet of vessels including large ocean tugs, barges, research and survey support vessels, supply boats and crew boats throughout the U.S. and beyond.
