Bakken Directory Winter 2015: Evonne Hickok, FNP-C, now certified with the NRCME

Trinity Community Clinic-Western Dakota provider Evonne Hickok, FNP-C, recently completed all requirements necessary to become certified with the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. The NRCME is a list of examiners who have been trained, tested and certified to perform physical examinations for commercial motor vehicle drivers in interstate commerce.

Administered by the Department of Transportation and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the registry is a program designed to make the nation’s highways safer by requiring that all examiners performing physical examinations comply with training, testing and FMCSA administrative requirements, including refresher training every five years and certification every 10 years. Hickok recently joined Trinity Community Clinic-Western Dakota in the specialty of occupational health and family medicine.
