Arctic Directory October 2015: AECOM hires Richard Greer as a senior biologist
Dr. Rich Greer has joined AECOM’s Anchorage, Alaska, office as a senior biologist.
Greer has more than 25 years of worldwide experience examining environmental impacts of development on fish and wildlife populations and their habitat. His areas of expertise include wildlife biology, Arctic development, oil and gas, the National Environmental Policy Act, compliance, and world bank/international finance corporation standards.
In this role, he will be responsible for developing federal, state, and international environmental assessments of oil and gas and manufacturing facilities, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission/National Environmental Policy Act pipeline environmental impact statements, natural resource damage assessments, oil spill response, and wetland assessment and restoration. He will also support ecological risk assessments and mitigation regarding threatened and endangered wildlife and plants.
