Slickwater fracks prove positive for Whiting as well costs drop
Whiting Petroleum seems to be proving that good things come to those who wait. The company has been moving almost entirely to slickwater completions, even in its central Williston Basin region of Hidden Bench where it has traditionally used gel fracks and cemented liners.
