Q. What do you most want people to know about your company?

A. We design and manufacture flexible fuel, fluid and gas containment systems in a wide array of sizes and shapes. All of our products produced in-house in our 100,000 manufacturing facility. We are an ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturer and have been in business for more than 25 years.

A. Redmond, Oregon

Q. What year was the company founded and by whom?

A. 1985

Q. What is your company’s primary business activity?

A. Design and manufacturing of flexible fuel containment systems for the Oil & Gas, Aerospace and defense sectors.

Q. Are there important projects the company is currently a part of or has done recently?

A. Working with the Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratories to design air and fuel bladders for use in Arctic regions. We are also supplying self-sealing fuel bladders to a number of the tactical vehicle manufacturers vying for the U.S. ARMY / Marine Corp JLTV, joint light tactical vehicle, program.

A. 35

Q. Describe the equipment your company uses and are there any new equipment purchases planned?

A. Rotational molding equipment, sheet metal fabrication equipment, CNC router and pattern smith machines, RF welders, autoclave and full machine shop.

Q. Is your company expanding any of its operations or locations?

A. We recently consolidated our operations in a state of the art, 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Redmond, Oregon.

Q. Is the company changing any of its services or products?

A. We are constantly exploring new materials and products to better serve our existing and future clients.

Q. What is your company’s main strength or its edge over the competition?

A. ISO 9001:2008 quality certified, all design and production performed in-house, no outsourcing, dual fuel material, breadth of manufacturing capabilities, engineering expertise.

Q. What new markets, clients or projects did your company attract in the last year?

A. JLTV tactical vehicle program – self-sealing fuel bladders, Penske Racing, AT&T Alaska operations – Pro Barrel aerial fuel delivery barrels, Cold Region Research Laboratories fuel and air bladders

Q. What is the most challenging work/contract the company has undertaken? 

A. Design and achievement of true dual fuel bladder materials

Q. What are the biggest obstacles to completing work your company undertakes?

A. Time – many of the products we manufacture are built to order and can be time consuming to design and produce. We keep many of our standard products in stock ready for shipment but if a product is a true custom that requires engineering and design work before we can begin fabrication lead times can be challenging.

Q. What do you see as your company’s biggest challenge in the next five years?

A. Communicating our design and fabrication capabilities to the industrial, aerospace and military markets.

Q. Does your company have an anniversary or other landmark event coming up?

A. 30 years in business in 2015!

A. 8-10 years

Q. What is your company’s safety record? What steps does the company take to ensure a safe work environment?

A. We have an excellent safety record with nearly zero days of work lost due to injury or work related illness. We have had multiple voluntary OSHA physical and environmental inspections conducted at our facility and have an active internal safety committee.
