EnCana, the big Canadian independent, gave conclusive proof of just how big it is in the first three-quarters of 2004.
The 25 most active drillers accounted for 12,092 well completions; EnCana claimed 3,793 — 31 precent — of that number.
The nearest thing to a race came from the next four, with Husk....
