Petroleum News Bakken expects to release its first Bakken Oil & Gas Directory in early November. The print edition will be enclosed in the Nov. 4 edition of the newspaper; the online edition will be available at www.petroleumnewsbakken.com on Nov. 2.
The full color directory, published as a marketing tool for the newspaper’s regular, contracted advertisers, will include categories listing every type of business, government agency and organization that is that is part of the Bakken/Three Forks play in North Dakota, Montana, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and a related play in southern Alberta.
The Bakken Oil & Gas Directory will contain directory listings from firms that both produce oil or invest in oil development — and listings and news from firms that service oil companies in and out of the field.

The Bakken Oil & Gas Directory will be published twice a year, in May and November.
PNB will continue to be published twice a month until March, when it will go weekly.
