Arctic Directory: Think Office celebrates successful 2014 charity event

Think Office said that its 2014 Design V Food event, held May 14 at the Bridge Restaurant in Anchorage, was a hit.

Six local design firms signed up to compete in the annual cooking competition - Architects Alaska, BDS Architects, ECI/Hyer Architecture and Interiors, KPB Architects, RIM Design and Spark Design.

The firms were challenged to create a dish that incorporated an architectural or design element. The 2014 winner, Architects Alaska, received a $3,000 donation to their favorite charity.

Guests of the event were also requested to bring a canned food item in order to gain entry to the event; the cans were collected and later delivered to the Food Bank of Alaska.
