That task force held a summit with industry and regulatory representatives Sept. 11 to evaluate how revisions could be made to the state’s regulatory structure to better address flaring. In an Oct. 16 press release, the council said the task force will address the North Dakota Industrial Commission on Oct. 22 and will present “recommendations for a collaborative effort to reduce flaring” to the commission in a report to be issued later this year.
