National rig count up 7 to 1055

The number of rigs drilling for oil and natural gas in the U.S. was up by seven the week ending Sept. 14 to 1,055.
At this time a year ago there were 936 active rigs.
Houston oilfield services company Baker Hughes reported that 867 rigs targeted oil (up seven from the previous week) and 186 targete....
