Q. What is the official name of your company?

A. CCI Industrial Services, LLC

Q. Is your firm a subsidiary or affiliate of other companies? If so, please name those firms and their relationship to your company.

A. CCI Industrial is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bristol Bay Native Corporation.

Q. What do you most want people to know about your company?

A. CCI Industrial began operation in 1989. For nearly two and a half decades, the company has had a presence in Alaska’s oilfields.

Q. What is your company’s primary business activity?

A. We provide operations and maintenance services to our valued clients on the North Slope and throughout Alaska. These include a diverse array of specialty services such as industrial coatings, asbestos and lead abatement, pipeline and component insulation removal and repair, tank and vessel cleaning, spill response, demolition, hazardous waste removal and construction.

CCI Industrial has been a reliable partner in extending the life of industrial infrastructure and for mitigating environmental risk. Our clients rely on our solutions-driven services that assist them in efficiently and reliably meeting their operational requirements.

Q. Are there important projects the company is currently a part of or has done recently?

A. We have recently acquired a major blasting, coating and painting facility and related equipment in Deadhorse, Alaska. CCI Industrial is the pioneer and leader in poly-based coatings on the North Slope. Our successful performance history includes spraying polyurea and polyurethane foam and other specialty industrial coatings on concrete, steel, floors, roofs, the interior and exterior of storage tanks, bed liners, and as secondary containment for bulk fuel farms and glycol tanks.

Our recent facility acquisition will allow us to perform these services year round and positions us to be the go-to coatings contractor on the North Slope. We have earned high praise for our coatings expertise and services; the addition of a fit-for-purpose facility will allow us to provide enhanced support and services to our clients.

Q. How many employees does your company have?

A. CCI Industrial currently has approximately two hundred and fifty employees. During the summer season, our activity and employment will increase significantly.

Q. Describe the equipment your company uses and are there any new equipment purchases planned?

A. CCI Industrial has made a significant investment in the equipment and tools available for application of paints, coatings and linings used to protect our client’s infrastructure from weather, erosion, corrosion and rust, while also protecting their workforce and enhancing process safety and energy efficiency.

Q. Is your company expanding any of its operations or locations?

A. As a leader in corrosion prevention and mitigation, our core competencies include proper surface preparation and application of a wide array of paints, coatings and containment linings – such as fusion-bonded epoxies, 1-2-3 coat protective systems, simple zinc primers for metal preservation, polyurea elastomers, polyurethane foams and a number of passive fire protection (PFP) systems.

With a renewed commitment and additional investment in providing specialty industrial coatings, our coatings crews apply coatings to: cast and molded parts; concrete; containment; drill rigs and platforms; equipment and components; floors, painting and striping; handrails and bull rails; metal structures; pipelines and piping systems; pipe spools – internal and external; pressure vessels; road crossings; roof and leak prevention systems; stacks and vents, including high temp; storage tanks, interior and exterior; structural steel; and well cellars.

Q. What is your company’s main strength or its edge over the competition?

A. Our clients place a high value on CCI Industrial’s ability to prolong the life of their oil and gas infrastructure. By doing this we save them money because our industrial coatings: protect against chemicals including petrochemicals, abrasion and impacts, corrosion and corrosive environments, long term weathering, thermal expansion and fire; increase workforce safety by providing reinforcement to structures and enhancing process safety;enhance operational performance by increasing energy efficiency and improving air quality; and by providing protection to immersed components, quick-to-service applications, and protection for below ground or buried assets.

Q. What new markets, clients or projects did your company attract in the last year?

A. Industrial passive fireproof coating systems are vital to the oil and gas industry. CCI Industrial has recently increased its capacity to provide passive fire protection systems for: blast proof modules and shelters; mechanical and electrical rooms; wall and roof assemblies; and structural beams, columns and support members.

Our company and technicians are qualified and experienced in applying a number of such coating systems, and our mature quality assurance and quality management systems ensure that we deliver excellent results.

Q. What is your company’s safety record? What steps does the company take to ensure a safe work environment?
