GOP claims control of Alaska Senate

Republicans on Nov. 7 wasted no time in claiming control of the Alaska Senate, one day after winning a majority of seats in the chamber.
Coming into Nov. 6’s elections, the Senate was comprised of 10 Democrats and 10 Republicans, with six Republicans joining Democrats to form a bipartisan majority.....
