Prices moved higher as the meeting approached.     Alaska North Slope liquids production for October averaged 469,988 barrels per day, up 15,472 bpd, 3.4%, from a September average of 454,516 bpd, but down 2.2% from an October 2022 average of 480,426 bpd. ANS volumes include crude as well as natural gas liquids from three North Slope fields: Prudhoe Bay, Northstar and Endicott. Crude averaged 417,085 bpd, 88.7% of October production, up 2.4%, 9,678 bpd, from a September average of 407,407 bpd, but down 2% from an October 2022 average of 425,644 bpd.     Natural gas production from Cook Inlet averaged 202,795 thousand cubic feet per day in October, up 8,648 mcf per day, 4.5%, from a September average of 194,146 mcf per day but down 7.3% from an October 2022 average of 218,828 mcf per day. Volumes are calculated from Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission data which is reported on a month-delay basis. For natural gas AOGCC reports measurements in thousands of cubic feet, mcf.     A spokesperson for APA Corp., holding company for Apache Corp., told Petroleum News in mid-November that the "farm in agreement" between APA, Armstrong Oil & Gas's Lagniappe Alaska, and Santos on a 148 lease block on Alaska's eastern North Slope had been "executed and we are proceeding in accordance with it." The lease block encompasses 270,000 acres south of the Badami unit.     The Alaska Department of Natural Resources'Division of Oil and Gas has approved a 2024 plan of development submitted by Prudhoe Bay operator Hilcorp North Slope for the western satellites -- Aurora, Borealis, Midnight Sun, Orion and Polaris.     The Baker Hughes'U.S. rotary drilling rig count was 622 for the short Thanksgiving week ending Nov. 22, up by four rigs from the previous week, and down by 162 from 782 a year ago. The rig count has been up in five and down in three of the last eight weeks, with a total gain of nine against losses of 13, continuing a downward trend dominant since the beginning of May.
