Good news re. ExxonMobil magazine: Petroleum News’ history of ExxonMobil in Alaska will be out at the end of the month. Collecting information for this magazine has been challenging, but we’re close to going into production—and hoping that the Point Thomson settlement between the state of Alaska and Exxon and its partners will be able to be included in the magazine.
Change in Big Risk, Bigger Rewards title: The 2011 BRBR magazine will be called Fortune Hunt Alaska. We decided using the word “risk” in anything about the oil and gas industry is probably a bad idea.
Fortune Hunt Alaska, also a full color magazine, will close in mid-February, instead of January 7. We need the extra five weeks to add a precious mineral and gem section, as well as enhance the oil and gas information to better attract new operators and project investors to the state.
Do something good for Alaska—and get the benefit of early exposure to new players and investors—by reserving ad space in Fortune Hunt Alaska. We suggest a full page company profile that touts your experience in the state.
