Jack-up leaves Vancouver

Escopeta Oil’s Spartan 151 jack-up is on its way to Alaska. The rig left the Vancouver area this morning, bound directly for its drilling location at the Corsair prospect in the Kitchen Lights units in Cook Inlet. It is expected to arrive sometime in the first week of August.

The jack-up is being towed by the three tugs supplied by Foss Maritime — one is a 6,000 horsepower tug; the other two are 4,500 HP tugs.
