Furie's Randolf Yost jack-up rig arrives in Kachemak Bay

Petroleum News sources have indicated that the Randolf Yost jack-up drilling rig that Furie Operating Alaska is planning to use for offshore Cook Inlet drilling has arrived in Kachemak Bay. The rig replaces the smaller Spartan 151 rig that the company has previously used for exploration and development drilling in its Kitchen Lights unit.

Furie has filed a new plan of operations for Kitchen Lights, indicating an intent to drill four development wells in the company's Kitchen Lights gas field between now and the end of 2018. The company also plans on completing up to 10 exploration wells, including the already started KLU No. 4 well, over the next five years.
