Furie bid deadline extended

The deadline to submit bids on the assets of Furie Operating Alaska LLC has been extended through and including Dec. 4 at 4 p.m. Eastern Time.

The extended bid deadline notice was filed Dec. 2 by the counsel to the debtors and debtors in possession.

The notice modifies the Sept. 26 court order approving bidding procedures, which established key dates and times related to the sale auction of proposed sale of substantially all of the debtors' assets, primarily the company's offshore Cook Inlet Kitchen Lights unit and natural gas production facilities. The assets are being sold as part of a voluntary petition by Furie and its related debtors for relief under chapter 11 of title 11 of the United States Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware filed on Aug. 9.

The notice further instructs that "all interested bidders should carefully read the bidding procedures order and the bidding procedures in their entirety."

Any interested bidder should contact, as soon as practicable: Seaport Global Securities LLC, 400 Poydras Street, Suite 3100, New Orleans, LA 70130 (Attn: Michael Schmidt: [email protected]).
