Legislators to meet on gas line efforts

Alaska lawmakers plan to meet for an update on efforts to commercialize the state’s natural gas resources.

The Legislature’s Joint In-State Gas Caucus is scheduled to hear from officials with the Parnell administration, in-state gas pipeline project and Exxon Mobil Corp., as well as from the federal coordinator for Alaska gas line projects.

The meeting is scheduled for July 30 in Anchorage. It will be streamed live at http://akl.tv and on the Legislature’s Teleconference Network at 1-855-463-5009.
