Meyers now in top four at Phillips Petroleum

Petroleum News Alaska

Phillips Petroleum Co. said Feb. 12 that its board of directors has approved a number of management actions, including the promotion of Kevin Meyers to executive vice president of Alaska production and operations.

Since joining Phillips last year Meyers has held the title of senior vice president of Alaska production and operations in the parent company. The promotion, effective Feb. 1., makes Meyers one of the company’s four top executives.

Phillips spokeswoman Kristi DesJarlais said she did not believe Alaska operations would be affected. She said Meyers still has the same job, his title is just a little different. He retains the title of president and chief executive officer of Phillips Alaska Inc.

J. Bryan Whitworth was also promoted to executive vice president.

John Carrig, John Lowe and Dodd DeCamp were promoted to senior vice president.

Bob Ridge was promoted to vice president.

All report to Jim Mulva, Phillips chairman and CEO.
