Oil thieves strike in Ketchikan

Ketchikan police are warning residents to be on the lookout for thieves targeting stove oil.

Police say oil has been siphoned from at least three tanks.

Deputy Police Chief Josh Dossett says the first two thefts were reported in January and another was reported Feb. 1.

Dossett says there’s no evidence that the three cases are connected.
