PETROLEUM DIRECTORY: Lounsbury engineer passes Alaska professional engineer exam
Lounsbury and Associates project engineer Mike Campfield recently passed the state of Alaska professional engineer exam, an industry certification for engineers, architects, land surveyors and landscape architects.
Campfield joined Lounsbury in 2003 and specializes in civil and environmental engineering, including site, road and utility design, as well as hydrology and pollution control. He has worked on projects such as the site and utility design for the Wasilla Alaska Sales and Service, Palmer urban revitalization and various road and facility improvement projects in the Mat-Su Borough. Campfield has also been involved with statewide projects that include the Ambler Sewage Lagoon Road, the P.O.B. Montgomery Retail Center in Fairbanks and the Timberline Drive road drainage analysis and design.
Lounsbury has operated in Alaska since 1949 and provides professional surveying, engineering, planning and project management services statewide. The firm has designed road improvement projects throughout Anchorage, as well as carrying out comprehensive permitting, planning, platting, utility and drainage projects statewide.
