DOE makes two grants to state

The Alaska Congressional delegation said July 16 that the U.S. Department of Energy has awarded the state two grants for energy-related projects: $75,000 for to complete preliminary design and feasibility plans for multiple wind-diesel village power projects in communities; and $75,000 to identify communities which are the most promising candidates for geothermal energy projects.
