Forcenergy declares dividend

Forcenergy Inc. declared a quarterly dividend on its preferred stock March 23, payable March 31 to holders of record as of the end of business on March 21.

The company said the dividend will be paid in additional shares of preferred stock, with each holder of preferred stock to receive a dividend equivalent to $4.28 per share in additional shares of preferred stock and/or cash in lieu of fractional shares.
