DOG releases North Slope W.I. map
Kay Cashman Petroleum News
Alaska's Division of Oil and Gas, which is headed by Derek Nottingham, offers a variety of maps covering the state's oil and gas producing areas, chiefly the Cook Inlet basin and the North Slope.
Some of the maps are periodically updated, the most recent being the Working Interest Ownership of North Slope Units map, which is dated August 2023.
(See map in the online issue PDF)
The maps can be found in the Documents page on the Division's website, under Maps and GSI.
At the top left appear the following links, none of which include a producing area:
*AK Peninsula & Bristol Bay Maps
*Regional Bouger Gravity Map (2005)
*Regional Geology Map (2005)
*Regional Magnetic Intensity Map (2005)
That's followed by:

*Activity Maps
*Notification Lessee Maps
*Unit Maps (individual units)
*Working Ownership Maps
Next are the North Slope maps, which include the state waters of the Beaufort Sea:
*Activity Maps
*North Slope Royalty Share
