Oil Patch Bits: Expro’s safety standards lead to Subsea UK award

Expro said Feb. 9 that it has won a coveted safety leadership award from Subsea UK in recognition of its outstanding safety record, presented at an awards dinner in Aberdeen, UK.

The safety leadership award is given to companies who can demonstrate outstanding safety management and performance. This is achieved by a consistent management and employee focus on health and safety processes across the business globally.

Subsea UK’s Business Award dinner celebrates the industry as a whole and highlights the success of a selected few who receive acknowledgement for its achievements.

“Expro is committed to achieving no injuries or occupational health incidents during our operations. In Expro, the performance of our employees and their continued commitment to safety is a source of great pride. We proactively encourage employee engagement throughout all levels and disciplines of the organization in order to identify and deliver opportunities for improvement,” said David Ford, Expro’s group HSEQ manager. “I am delighted that the hard work that our employees demonstrate has been recognized by our peers within the industry.”
