Arctic Directory October 2015: Bell acquires operations manager
F. Robert Bell and Associates announced that Frank Thomas “FT” Bell has returned to the firm and will fill the new position of operations manager to further develop company goals. He will help Bell and Associates run more efficiently and grow as much as possible. In addition, he hopes Bell and Associates can remain an enjoyable place to work and foster successful and competitive careers for its employees. FT comes with a wealth of experience within the industry. Having recently graduating from Alaska Pacific University with a master of science in psychology, FT served as an intern at both the Alaska Human Services and Alaska Pacific University Counseling & Wellness Center for two years.
FT brings eight years of experience of land surveying with Bell and Associates in the Prudhoe Bay office as a head chainperson, instrument person and occasionally as a party chief. He has various North Slope training including: NSTC, hazmat, hazwoper, wildlife, driving safety, manlift training, helicopter underwater escape training and site-specific facility training. He will be able to encourage employee professional growth through his various training in the field of mental health including ACMHS orientation, CPI non-violent crisis intervention training, AK HMIS training, AKAIMS training, motivational interviewing, SOAR stepping stones to recovery training, TTC hearing voices training, and more.
