Palin named AOGCC chair

Commissioner Sarah Palin has been named chair of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. Palin, who holds the public member seat, told Petroleum News Alaska that she heard about her appointment as chair March 12. The appointment is retroactive to March 1, she said. Palin was twice elected mayor of Wasilla and also served two terms on the Wasilla city council.
